This is what my work-life balance looks like today. It balances over the long term. Some days I’m a stellar mom, some days I’m a stellar scientist. Not usually in the same day. This week I successfully started a new experiment and failed on baking my kid’s birthday cake!

My new #SciArt out today illustrates new research by @c_terrer @BruceHungate @EcossNau et al in @nature ; under elevated CO2, ecosystems that respond strongly sequester additional C either in aboveground biomass, or belowground soil C

Reading this in journal club today. It's a good reminder about how to interpret microbiome data.

Earlier in the week, I learned that #sciencetwitter was inspired by a graphical display of allyship designed by @SammyKatta. Today, you can download a #InThisLabWeBelieve poster for your worm, fly, mouse, genetics, or cell biology lab. https://t.co/AZiG3ZHTzW

You're inevitably going to have to update to R 4.0.0 soon and as a result, you'll lose most of your packages and have to reinstall them. Here's a short script to keep a list of your current R packages and how to reinstall them after updating #rstats #statstwitter
