In some way that's how society works. Inventors, artists, writers that have original ideas are mostly rewarded with money, fame, status, etc. What changes is the anonymity that original creators now will have.

I see a future where Humans will be deemed special only by the original thoughts, patterns, designs they produce and that cannot be found on previous training data. But once AI absorbs them everyone would be able to have/replicate them in a second.
