Good news.
From September 1st we start a pilot with Humberside Police to make support for families of the knock more accessible. If the results look promising then we can hopefully replicate this with other forces. We can do this. #theknock.

Yes!.
Very concerned to see that psychology and probation staff being directed to give no opinion in parole boards. This seems to make a mockery of asking for a specialist opinion. It is driven by politic rather than evidence based practice.

Have a look at @Safer_Lives new service for those aged between 16 and 21, arrested for technology assisted sexual offences. The Transitions Programme will, start to address this gap in provision.

Full support to those striking for better conditions at work. One reason for leaving public sector was the expectation you put up with dreadful conditions because you don't want to let service users down. It should be possible to go on holiday without fearing your inbox on return.

Eek. We are doing this. We will push and act so that family members are not repeatedly traumatised by the daily impact these arrests have on them. Stay or go, parent, sibling, grown up child. You are all welcome at Talking Forward peer support groups. No judgement, lots of tea.
