Exciting, nerve wracking, all the feeling generating changes coming. Soon graduating residency. Gearing up to start fellowship, move back to MN. Looking to buy my first home, while my family is moving from our childhood home! Bittersweet but can’t wait this new chapter. #medpeds.

What a dream team of humans! My residency partner in crime @MichelleProng & our fearless leaders @ericamillermd & Dr. Anita Ray. A privilege to see a need for our program & work together improving things for those coming behind us as we graduate. #medpeds #womeninmedicine.

As I’m finishing last rotations, starting onboarding & planning for moving for fellowship, I’m feeling nostalgic. I’m excited for what’s next & grateful for the wonderful people I’ve met in residency. Couldn’t do it without my mentors, friends & family. #medpeds #womeninmedicine.

30 minutes until the match computer knows the fate of all of us supplying for medicine and pediatrics subspecialty fellowships this year. I cannot wait to find out where all of my friends will be going next! #MedPeds #womeninmedicine

With my rank list complete & now only waiting for 12/4 to find out where I’m moving for fellowship, I’m thinking about budgeting for my next steps. Aside from boards, license fees & moving any other costs folks weren’t expecting that I should plan for? #medpeds. #womeninmedicine.

Finished my last fellowship interview today. So excited about what lies ahead for me as a future pediatric endocrinologist & grateful to everyone who’s helped me along the way. This childhood dream is finally coming true & it feels surreal. #medpeds #womeninmedicine.

Having a blast on interviews meeting folks in peds endo. Some of the happiest people, who just love their field & patients. It’s fun seeing people excited about the topics I’m interested in & getting a sense of how my career might evolve over time 😊#medpeds #womeninmedicine.

Been reminded how infrequently we receive positive feedback as residents. When we only hear about what people didn’t like, would do differently, it can feel like you can’t do anything right. So give positive feedback, catch people doing good. It makes a difference. #medpeds.

Got a copy of the reference book my co-residents and our attendings helped to update ❤️ Feels cool to see our names in print and be part of something I found so useful as a student. Proud of all our work and grateful for the opportunity! #womeninmedicine #futureendocrinologist
