Chief Whip Simon Hart told Lindsay Hoyle that the Reform bribe to senior MP's salary is a guarantee of 5 years MP salary if they lose their seat after defecting. That's about £430,000. No wonder #30pLee changed his mind. He can do nothing for 5 years and still get paid.

It's hard to watch the PO inquiry. Stephen Bradshaw could say he's wracked with guilt for how he personally contributed to lives being ruined. Instead he just looks angry. "It's not my fault". Well, yeah, it was, Mr. Bradshaw. And he still has his job in the PO. Unbelievable.

@LBC @mrjamesob Freedom of speech should definitely include holding up anti-monarchy placards at a royal funeral. It might be tasteless and insensitive but it can't be illegal. And a policeman's subjective view of whether somebody is distressed or not can't dictate the law.
