Seriously, those ready-made broths & stocks are overpriced & bad for the environment. Buy cubes, save $, and recycle the cardboard or plastic container. I've used Knorr bouillon cubes forever, but I've been known (especially recently bc I'm broke) to use the Best Choice cubes.

If you're cooking Thanksgiving dinner on a budget, this is me giving you permission to use Chicken Bouillon Cubes instead of ready-made broth/stock! You will SAVE SO MUCH MONEY, & you won't be able to tell the difference (though you will want to make a salt-additive adjustment).

The best part of finally finding a job? Unsubscribing from all the job site emails!!

Cleaning out my VERY packed bookshelves. Hubs & I are between middle age & retired &, both readers, we have a TON of books. Incredible how many of our books are "book club editions." BOMC & other clubs were a big deal in distributing books to readers. Is there such a thing now?
