My passive aggressiveness worked! He’s actually getting off earlier than expected now. Woot!

My petty ass just pointed out that it will reflect poorly on his employer, who hired me as their event planner, if I show up late and angry to put the final touches on the event site and check in the vendors.

If he takes the shift, tomorrow is going to be so fucking miserable. He’s going to get hot and sweaty, then lose his temper before we leave the house. Then he’s going to show his ass at the event because of the stress of running late, which we definitely will be.

Well, he said he *might* have to work a double shift. That’s just a word he snuck in there to see how pissed i would be. I just let him know that if he can’t help today, he will be up extremely early after a late night honoring his commitment to me.

Dammit. I was counting on my husband getting off work around 2:00 pm. I need his help loading the car for an event tomorrow, as I am just not strong enough. He was also supposed to go pick up honey and visit the bank. He just texted me that he has to work a double. I’m screwed.

Can’t stop thinking about how fucked up it is that I had to get our cat designated as an emotional support animal to thwart my in-laws attempt to prevent us from adopting a pet. We, as grown adults, have been hiding Chai from them for over a month.

Just received a message that my NP is out of the office this week. This is a perfect example of a barrier to receiving the vaccine. Now I have to wait until my appointment next week to get my prescription.

Can @yourscpha voice their support for South Carolina pharmacists to be able to give the 2025-2026 Covid vaccine without all this bureaucratic bullshit? SC has been giving updated vaccines to adults for a week now without an Rx. This was sent at 2:32pm today. This is absurd.

If only we could be so lucky in South Carolina.

I love South Carolina in general, but hate our politics sometimes. I just found out that I need a prescription to get a COVID vaccine. I’m high risk and rely a lot on herd immunity, which will be practically nonexistent with this new requirement.
