If it changed overnight, was there something that happened last night that could’ve shifted it suddenly? Something everyone would’ve seen all at the same time?
Man, the narrative on the Broncos quarterback changed overnight, from all the same national media outlets that routinely have the exact same nice things to say about him. Suddenly the exact same negative things.

Upon further reflection: Players, fan base and thermostat is right where it should be. You want to be excited about 7 in a row and 8-2, go for it. You want to be pissed off about the shitty product on the field, go for it. I’m kinda glad we’re not popping champagne in Nov.

Last year, Denver didn’t have any games with double digit penalties. This year, they already have four.

Lots of talk and no action to fix it. At some point the Tebow luck is gonna wear out and you have to play NFL football.
You can SAY you want to start fast and need to clean up special teams and penalties all you want leading up to the game but at some point the talk becomes cheap. 9 penalties in a half of play and terrible field position all game due to poor special teams. Undisciplined slop.

Nah - miss me with that one, Sean. Coaches are accountable to results and the results haven’t been good. So no, coaching hasn’t been ‘outstanding’ because the results have been subpar and game-costing.
Asked Sean Payton to clarify his "we'll find someone else that can do it" special-teams comment yesterday -- was he referring to players or coaching? Again said "Coaching is outstanding." Said he was referring to players/personnel here. Here's full quote:

Hufanga has been a free agent signing on the level of Emmanuel Sanders and Demarcus Ware. Massive impact in an area of need.

I’m a huge Nix fan, but his inconsistency is a huge piece of this offense’s inconsistency this year.

Texans DB was early but no call. 100% they’ll call the same thing on Riley Moss later in the game.

Don’t quote me Bo Nix stats when he’s had 5 drops by these traffic cones out there. That Franklin pass was beautiful and well drawn up and he derps it. Bo’s not perfect but he’s far from the problem today.

Sean Payton calling plays like he’s a 13 year old playing Madden and the team matching that energy by playing like a bunch of little leaguers. Hopefully some Caprisun and Uncrustables at halftime juice them up.

Broncos practice next week needs to be nothing but jugs machine and perimeter blocking.

Can’t imagine brass are going to like the team being embarrassed on alumni day with the Super Bowl team in attendance and Demaryius Thomas being honored.

Man it must stink as a play designer to have an offense that can’t execute. Sean Payton should really have a talk with whoever is ultimately accountable for the offense and overall team execution.
