Just heard the awful news of the passing of Hefin David MS. He succeeded me as Assembly Member for Caerphilly in 2016. My thoughts are with his family and many friends. He was my friend as well as a trusted colleague and comrade.

So sad to hear of the passing of George Foreman. Not only a great boxer but a great human being and personality also. I’m the same age and I will never forget his most famous fight the “rumble in the jungle” even though he lost. My George Foreman Grill is always well used. 🥊

Eluned Morgan made history today in becoming the first woman to be elected as First Minister in Wales A huge achievement I look forward to seeing her leadership taking Wales forward. What an inspiration for women and girls in Wales Pleased I was at the Senedd to see it happen

Superb morning-celebrating the work of our Serious Organised Crime Team..chatted through 6 cases they dealt with in the last 12 months.. that resulted in combined sentences of 218 years. A highly skilled group of dedicated officers and staff...making a huge difference..diolch 👍
