@amazon To be honest, I'm kind of hoping it is the crazy option, since it'd be a huge story. The lesser story is how agonizingly frustrating navigating @Amazon's resolution process is.

@amazon Someone from my family must've accidentally ordered it somehow on one of the myriad devices that makes that possible. But everyone swears they didn't. Sure would be nice to talk to someone at @Amazon.

The paranoid part of me knows that my dad was looking for a misplaced Amazon Fire remote a few weeks ago. And he has an Echo in his house. There's no way @Amazon is listening to us and preemptively selling stuff it thinks we need, right? No, that's crazy.

I was charged for and sent an Amazon Fire TV Stick that I didn't order. Trying to contact @Amazon to find out how it happened is... frustrating. I eventually chatted with someone who said they'd escalated my case to their concern team. That was 10+ days ago. Crickets.
