"By exposing institutional fragilities and providing a clear map of the "red lines" that were crossed, the Inquiry has handed the electorate a powerful tool for accountability." Public Opinion Poll @GBCNewsroom ?

Short of a break in party ranks, denial may still catalyse renewal. If reform and independents gain ground, the legacy will not be spin but a more pluralistic politics. Wishful thinking? @togethergib

This remains the likely trajectory unless a government MP breaks ranks, specifically a member of the @GslpSocial or the @rblxGibLibs and votes in favour of any pending no confidence motion.

That is why appetite for reform seems to be growing. Clearer limits on executive power. Real checks that do not rely on goodwill. Independent voices matter here, @llanitoworld is a good example of a long standing push for parliamentary reform and accountability.

This moment exposes the weakness of two party dominance. A weak opposition means accountability too often depends on party loyalty, not scrutiny.

When leaders deny what people can plainly read for themselves, frustration grows. Spin does not reassure. It alienates. Trust erodes.

The CMโs insistence that the inquiry โcompletely exoneratesโ him, despite clear findings of improper conduct, may prove a turning point for Gibraltar politics. ๐งต..

If the AG already knew the CM had crossed constitutional lines, was the unusually broad advance immunity, including a promise to discontinue future prosecutions, appropriate? @keith_azopardi @NickCruzGib @LlanitoWorld

The critcisms of the CM are surreal. Any humble minister (let alone Chief Minister) with an ounce of ethics would RESIGN. All of this is now public information, although it is from over FIVE YEARS AGO. Imagine what has happened before and after that we don't know.
