On January 1, 2026, the Jean Lafitte NHP&P and the New Orleans Jazz NHP Visitor Centers will be closed for New Year's Day. Outdoor areas that are normally open this time of year will be available as usual. Happy New Year! More information:

Aaaand we're back! The air conditioning at the Chalmette Visitor Center has been restored, and starting tomorrow, July 2, we’ll be open during our regular hours. A big thank you to our visitors and staff for your patience and support during the repairs!
