Thanks @ReginaLabelle for bringing attention to such a serious issue. The evidence of racial disparities in access to opioid treatment is staggering and itโs imperative we find solutions so everyone can obtain the quality treatment options they need and deserve.

Thanks @levfacher for highlighting Dr. Nora Volkowโs call for expanded access to medications for #OpioidUseDisorder. People with opioid use disorder need more #recovery support and increasing access to treatment options is a pivotal step towards long-term solutions.

People living with #OpioidUseDisorder deserve accessible care, which is one reason why we are developing oral weekly treatment options at @LyndraInc. Iโm thrilled to see how states across the U.S. are mobilizing to improve treatment systems and support.
107,000+ Americans died from an overdose in 2021. Some statesโlike Kentucky, Missouri, Rhode Island, and Alabamaโare tracking and measuring an array of data to help improve #opioid use disorder care and save lives.

Thank you @alexmorrisNY for sharing this thought-provoking piece that will open the floor for new conversations around #psychosis and #treatment. Selenaโs story, including challenges with finding the right treatment, will resonate with many people who experience psychosis.
Selena Gomez opens up to Rolling Stone about an episode of psychosis in 2018, hearing voices, the paranoia she felt in a treatment facility, the adverse effect too many medications had on her, and how she got better.

Interesting report from @WHO regarding the future of #MalariaTransmission and treatment โ itโs critical to continue developing new protective protocols and resources that can be used to fight this life-threatening disease.
#Malaria is a life-threatening disease transmitted to people by mosquitoes. In a few years most people living in malaria-endemic countries will reside in cities. WHO launches a new guidance to prevent & manage malaria in urban areas ๐

Absolutely agree @drjenwolkin! Eliminating stigma plays a pivotal role in the process of improving mental health services and advancing treatment options.
Mental Health Challenges are NO less impactful than Physical Challenges. Trauma, Anxiety, Addiction, Depression, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, need the same urgency of treatment as a broken ankle, diabetes, autoimmune disease, etc. Stigma stops HERE. Mental Health IS Health.
