and finally, there's just so many little subtle improvements where clearly Apple's design team took a microscopic look at everything. Modal dialogs, swipe animations, etc… so so well done. 👏.

It very much has given me the same vibes I had when I used Aqua for the first time when OS X beta came out. I fell head-over-heels in love with it. Getting the same feelings now.

One of my favorite aspects of it is it does such a great job separating out the OS's UI from individual app UIs. It really starts to feel like the glass UI is part of the hardware itself, and the apps exist within that world - rather than the 2 UIs competing.

I have been so thoroughly impressed with just how amazing the liquid glass UI feels. My feelings about Apple has a company have soured so far over the last few years in the Tim Cook era, but wow, their UI design team just doesn't miss.

☕️ GM gonna build some awesome stuff today. I still laugh at myself how stoked I get when I get to push pixels around in this extremely obsessive way (in code) … knowing 99.99% of users will never notice/care about the specifics. These lil’ pixels are for me. ☺️.

Yes, that’s right, the search engine in the settings app can’t even find the section for a basic, native, Apple-authored, default app. Even if you type the exact name. But of course I’m forced to look at some giant advertisement for some AI playground nonsense. The Apple of.

Oh here’s another fun one for you I just experienced on my wife’s iPhone this last week. Let’s say you notice her camera settings are bad so you pop into the settings app (because that’s still a thing) and search for “C… a… m…” to find the camera settings…
It's another example of Apple missing an asshole in charge. Someone who'd simply refuse to let this go until it's fixed. Whether the problem is with hardware, software, bluetooth, or whatever. You need someone at the top to be unreasonably upset about it.

This is not how “POV” works. This drives me nuts. I will die on this hill. The appropriate caption for this would just be “You’re the only designer at the company”. POV would be if the camera was on the guy’s hat. Or, if this is POV, then the tweet doesn’t make sense, because.

I have *a lot* to say regarding the Apple ruling, but we’re in the middle of a move (new @infinitearmory HQ waaaasuup!) but one quick thought:. Steve *loved* competing on product. He understood the best “moat” was to keep making a thing that people wanted. Tim Cook does not.

I know everyone’s expecting the downfall of Figma after the IPO news. I can’t help but feeling the next tool to take the crown will integrate code even further up the process… especially now that AI can assist non-coding designers with the paradigms.
