I woke up feeling good, but got on the bike I realised that today was going to be a struggle. Not sure if it's because of the rest day, the crash, or that it's the 3rd week into a Grand Tour, but that was a hard one!
Hopefully that was the shock to the system the body needed!

Stage 14: Tight twisty roads & a lot of motivated riders meant it was a battle for the breakaway, I tried m hand at getting in but after fair few tries we decided today just wasn’t going to be my day. Another day in Pokadots and another good day in the office :)

I was looking forward to today's stage, but I got smashed in the run into the left hand corner & took my chain off. When I realised I wasn't going to be able to contend for the stage, I decided to put the clutch in, not waste energy, and just get through the stage. 👌🏼

Base build in progress! Starting to layer up for rides 🥶 Luckily for me, the Belgium's know how to prepare for the cold conditions, and I think I'm pretty well set-up for the coming winter months. Been back on the bike for a few days now I'm starting to feel like itself again.

My kind of terrain 📈 The pace was ON. I got to support Rob & Xandro then got to follow any moves that went over the final climb. When that didn't eventuate it was time to put the clutch in and loose more time. Whole heap of fun today, I love my job.
