I was always amazed that a man of his stature would attend our industry conferences. Mr. Kohler would sit in the audience at NGCOA events just like any other member. Except he wasn’t just any other member. He was a Titan.

Was honored to have been there that evening. Playing golf at the highest level takes an amazing amount of talent and discipline. Doing it inside an adverse culture is worthy of the highest respect.
The golf world lost a true trailblazer in our 2019 Bob Jones Award recipient Lee Elder. 🙏 Elder was 87.
