Tbh this is abnormally high revision, 3-4 times larger than average. In absence of full scale crisis, it is probably indeed to make Trump look bad.
Trump now claims that today's weak jobs report, and the downward revisions to prior reports, were rigged to make him look bad. He said the good news is that the country is doing great. So when the numbers are good, they're real. But when they're bad, they're fake. What a joke!.
