…mangled holiday to go to the airport when I didn’t want/need to. One bag still missing, BA will not even tell me if they know where it is, let alone whether it will be delivered to the hotel in London by Sunday. Never, ever again. If you ever thing about flying BA, just DON’T.

…me I’d have to call the BA luggage people in Greece, who aren’t answering. I mentioned Fawlty Towers before, but even Basil and Manuel would offer better service than this.

No wonder no one wants to fly with them. Worst service and customer care I have encountered with any airline anywhere in the world. When I asked to speak to a senior/supervisor, they hung up on me as well. Welcome to the land of Fawlty Towers.

@JasonWenderoth Sincere condolences to such a situation - nobody should feel at war when going to work. Unfortunately vertical hierarchical systems still make this a “normal situation”. In hospitals we live in a bubble of enclosed dictatorship within a democratic system.

…to see out the remainder of my career and finish at the centre I built from nothing, when I see fit, on my terms, and leaving the place better than when I found it. Onward and upward!

After an extremely distressing and traumatic 8 months, I managed to hold on to my job. During this time, many of you provided immense professional and personal support, and I can never thank you enough for your time and your friendship. I hope now…

Some may be aware that I had to fight a difficult political and personal battle for much of the last year to hold onto my position at the hospital where I started a Neurointerventional service which is now regarded as one of the pre-eminent services in Australia….

Getting a little tired of @Siemens lack of action/solutions over measurement discrepancies on its DSA systems. At least 30% error on 2D and 3D. Only a matter of time before it results in a major complication. Anyone else have this issue?

What a pleasure to host the POW and Liverpool teams for a little Christmas shindig. Thanks for all your help and support over the past few testing months and years. 🎅 🎄

Has anyone had any experience staging a stent/coil procedure with EVO? Had a case this week with a precarious placement 6 weeks ago. Left it to heal in a bit before placing the second limb of the Y…almost impossible to get through the struts. Normally no problem if same day.

…the superior tubercle of the glenoid fossa…ie. the shoulder. And yet again, can we look at the inconsistency of officiating where within 24h, Young gets away with yellow but Retallick was (deservedly) red-carded for a much lower-velocity and less reckless clean out?

“Round the world” access to left P1 with HW17; EVO 3.5x32mm placed. HW Duo right PCom to BA; EVO 2.5x22mm placed. Uneventful coiling.

Case of the month. For me anyway. WFNS 2 SAH in a 40yo F research scientist. EVD placed pre DSA. Considered BA-bilateral P1 Y-stent/coil but P1 access formidable on both sides. Thus decided get one stent from left P1 to BA, then “reverse-Y” from BA to right PCom then coil.
