After watching the @60Minutes report on the dangers of chatbots, I decided to see how they'd react to someone coming out of the closet. The exercise made me even more fearful of artificial intelligence. Proper regulation isn't happening fast enough. #AI

Reports consistently warn that chatbots are unsafe for children — and after coming out to 50 different bots, I’d argue the technology is unsafe for almost everyone.

This week's This News Is So Gay podcast: Harvard caving to Trump, why PA House Democrats are politically shrewd, the most inclusive nondiscrimination bill in the country, the WNBA expansion, and the LGBTQ figures we'd most like to spend the day with. https://t.co/D8yQinq4nN

The fact that he still has to capitulate is so disgusting.
Thank you America, thank you for your support, thank you for this visit. Thank you @POTUS, Congress, and the American people. Ukraine needs just and lasting peace, and we are working exactly for that.

After that meeting, it's clear Trump and Vance want to completely destroy the world order for their own benefit. I'm embarrassed, and I understand every European who says America is failing. We are.

CPAC activists announced the Third Term Project: an effort to end the 22nd Amendment, the two term limit on Presidents. There's no need to mince words, the GOP is authoritarian. They want a dictator. https://t.co/w8dJMLbo7p

When groups like @LGBAlliance_USA support Donald Trump's transphobia, they make it easier for him to attack the rest of the LGBTQ community. The cancelled Pride performance featuring the Gay Men's Chorus of Washington DC show that it has already begun. https://t.co/3IhjqbumQw

LGB groups like the LGB Alliance seek to stop trans people from being part of the LGBTQ+ community, and fuel Donald Trump's extremism.

I had a friend from England tell me that he phone banked for the Harris campaign, and the training they received was minimal. I met canvassers from Europe who didn't quite know what to do. Quantity over quality was the strategy and it failed spectacularly.

Sending strangers to neighborhoods they don't know, to a group of people they don't know, to rattle off talking points, is a waste of time. The Harris campaign really thought that merely spreading their message was enough to get voters on board.

Regarding canvassing in Chinatown, I told the field organizer that they needed to send someone who spoke Chinese next time, and also someone who lives in the neighborhood and they looked at me like I'd just had a brilliant idea.

Third time: Chinatown. This was a RIDICULOUS assignment, and even the field organizer said "we've never sent anyone there before." Most of the addresses given to me were businesses, like a grocery store or restaurant, and the private entrances to apartments had no doorbells.

Second time: Queen Village. The middle class men here were sooooooo apathetic about voting, and one literally got chided by his wife in front of me. No amount of strangers door knocking is changing that.

First time: West Philly, near the VA hospital. The students were concerned about Gaza and the older people were jaded. Both groups said they were voting but weren't pumped about the state of the world. Being worried about the world is a terrible indicator for an incumbent party.

Let's talk about the 2 million doors knocked in Philadelphia and why it had no impact driving Democratic turnout in the election. I door knocked three times for the Harris campaign. 🧵

People who canvassed for the Harris campaign told our field organizers about the utter apathy of male voters, the lack of excitement among young people due to Gaza, and the lack of Spanish-speaking outreach. But sure keep blaming the Philly Dem Party.

Under Brady's failed leadership, the city's Democratic Party resembles more of a social club for political has-beens than a functioning organization designed to build power for working people.

I want to say something for posterity and for the 2028 candidate: don't ignore local media. I know it isn't as splashy, and it's more time consuming to do 10 local over 1 national, but we reach more voters than you think. This cycle we felt, and we were, particularly ignored.

Philly update: the 5th ward, one of the most populous and liberal wards in the city, has only reported 29.7% of votes. Many other wards are at 95 or 100% reporting. Don't give up hope yet. #Election2024📷

Trump’s winning strategy: accuse Pennsylvanians of cheating (again). Meanwhile, Kamala Harris is meeting Pennsylvanians today in Harrisburg to chart a new path forward with policies that matter most to us. It’s time to turn the page and leave this sad man in the past.

This is a staged video posted by James Blair, director of the Trump campaign and the RNC, to make it appear there is voter suppression in Pennsylvania. These are actors (no badges, wrong uniforms), not Bucks County Emergency Services. Real officers on the right.
What are you doing about this @GovernorShapiro? This is Bucks County Emergency Services shutting down the line in Doylestown right now at ~2:30 PM. This is suppressive and intimidating.
