If you watch just one twitter video today, make it this one, if only for the reaction of Brice Rhodes' attorney after he suggests the judge is having sex with the prosecutor. And then accuses judge of being in KKK.

@louisvillemayor
announced that
@LMPD
Officer Brett Hankison has been fired. The press conference lasted less than a minute.
Attorneys for
#BreonnaTayor
claimed Hankison fired more than 20 shots into Taylor's apartment and that of her neighbors and then went AWOL afterwards
Hankison has a long history of being investigation by police, but w/ little discipline. Most recently, the mayor demanded that Hankison be removed from the Louisville Police Merit Board after several woman came forward claiming he sexually assaulted them.
If you are keeping track, the Marshall County judge handling the school shooting case has allegedly:
- improperly closed the alleged shooter's arraignment
- issued an unconstitutional gag order
- improperly sealed the entire case
- told police to stop interrogation of shooter
Sam Aguiar, an attorney for
#BreonnaTayor
's family, on the firing of Hankison: "It's about time and this is the poster child of the dirtiest of dirty cops and the most dangerous of dangerous cops. I hope to God he's never back to working our streets again."
Attrny Sam Aguiar, who represents Taylor’s family, claims the plea offer shows police & prosecutors were trying to smear her. “The fact that they would try to even represent that she was a co-defendant in a criminal case more than a month after she died is absolutely disgusting”
Extremely graphic. This is what former assistant Prospect Police Chief Todd Shaw told an

recruit about catching juveniles smoking pot.

I always forget to smell the air during news events to see, for example, if it is heavy with oleander, snipped greenery and sea nip. It is one of my unfortunate journalistic shortcomings
Danny Alvarez, who won a primary in Jefferson County's judicial races last night, has died of a heart attack. Danny was a wonderful man and a talented attorney who was well-liked by just about everyone in the court system. It is a horrible loss for this community.
Defense attorney Ted Shouse said the strategy seems to have been to destroy Breonna Taylor “because she is destroying them. And they want Jamarcus Glover to do it for them because their efforts have failed. So they offer him a bribe, basically. All you have to do is smear her.”
Hey gang, Katina Powell was arrested against yesterday, for allegedly shoplifting $800 of items from Kroger.
We can totally talk about this some other time tho
"Who are they aiming at?"
"Us! They are aiming directly at us!"
Reporter and photographer were several feet away from police not doing anything of note.
Former
@LMPD
Det. Joshua Jaynes and his partner, Kelly Goodlett, had a "gut feeling" that a suspected drug dealer was using Breonna Taylor's home to store drugs and money. But when the evidence they were looking for proved to be false, they used it anyway.
Glover turned down the plea offer, which would have resulted in a possible 10-year prison sentence for charges of criminal syndication, drug trafficking and gun charges.
If he had taken the plea, Glover could possibly had been released on probation instead of serving prison time.
Kelly Goodlett, who has already pleaded guilty to conspiracy, went along with the false info because she "had been ostracized early in her career for attempting to report a fellow officer's use of excessive force, so she decided not to call Det. Jaynes out on this lie"

The lawsuit claims there was a whiteboard placed in an LMPD division headquarters which was titled "R***Gate" that wagered how many officers would be indicted and the possible number of charges of sodomy and rape each listed officer would face.
Edwin Chandler spent nine years in prison after former
@LMPD
Det. Mark Handy forced Chandler into a false confession, taped over video evidence and lied on the stand. Handy was going to get probation for perjury. Judge Olu Stevens rejected that, saying Handy should go to prison

“You all want to here something funny. No, I shouldn’t say this. Ok. We haven’t actually had a practice all year. Lol. I’m actually into building model trains in my basement. Very time consuming.”
My 10-year-old has to write a paper for school about his favorite store. He chose “Dick’s Sporting Goods.” He went online to get info and I noticed he had just typed “Dick’s” in Google and pressed enter. I ripped the computer away.
Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

After the Louisville postal inspector told
@WDRBNews
information in the warrant was false, Goodlett "realized immediately that she and Det. Jaynes were in trouble."
They met in his garage and decided to get on the same page because if Jaynes went down, "she would go down too."
"When they conspired to violate Ms. Taylor's Fourth Amendment Rights, they knew that the warrant would be executed, at night, by officers with firearms, and that it was foreseeable that a person in the home could be injured or killed," according to the court records.
Two men wearing camo with long guns were spotted by the
@LMPD
air unit on top of a downtown parking garage just before 11 pm Sunday. SWAT found the men but didn't charge them because this is not a crime. Their guns were taken until they can prove ownership.
The officers knew that the suspected drug dealer, Jamarcus Glover, had not been making "frequent trips" to Taylor's home in recent months or using her address as his, as was written in the affidavit for the search warrant.
Goodlett also knew that the reasons Jaynes requested a no-knock warrant were false.
"The detective had absolutely no reason to believe that Taylor was a drug trafficker, or that she had ever tried to destroy evidence or flee from law enforcement, or that there were any cameras”

I am NOT an attorney but I'm 99.9 percent sure U of L gets the 2013 trophy and banner back while this case is pending. And everyone also has to say U of L won three titles. Fans will not have further comment because it is pending litigation.

This seems like how you escape from jail in the 1930s
The Kentucky Supreme Court denied
