Breaking new: Because Soledad and Watsonville had the same league record (12-1) to determine who got the automatic qualifier spot was based on a coin flip that landed in Soledad's favor. Soledad gets the automatic qualifier, and Watsonville will have to apply at large.

Today at 7 pm, not only will the Aztecs celebrate their seniors, they will attempt to move into a tie for first place with Watsonville. Soledad currently is 8-1 in league play. The last time they had under two losses in league play, they won MTAL back in 2006.
