Looking forward to the jira integration in my Arc browser. was already feeling iffy that all the focus was moving to dia, definitely not bullish on the browser company atm.

My @FrameworkPuter came today and it’s so fun—I found myself letting out involuntary gasps of delight as I unboxed and assembled over lunch. installed @OmarchyLinux , stow’d all my dotfiles, all done in 45 min, then back to work. Now work is done and it’s time to play.
running omarchy on my 8yo gaming laptop that was gathering dust and my M3 MBP is definitely getting jealous after I took it to the coffee shop instead 😆 . and now i'm on the verge of pulling the trigger on a framework.

This captures my main beef with the name "Silicon Slopes" -- I grew in the Bay, and I stayed in Utah after studying CS because I did not want to go back to that culture. I don't want to become like SV, I want Utah to be it's own thing. Happy and balanced. Between the discourse.
Been thinking about this since Dave tweeted this. The Utah Way is different. We’re not trying to be more of what another place is. Not the next Silicon Valley, but the best Utah. Utah founders are built different, life maxing in all aspects, building families with an.

The two local coffee shops I frequent the most both daily have some very christian people at them -- like pastors and church employees. I've never seen them in cross-pollinate so I can only assume that there is some sort of denominational turf coffee shop turf war.

it's also unfortunately true that most people who get into the divine feminine or masculine don't actually get into their own divine feminine or masculine well until after they stop talking about and searching for it.

Heard from quite a few people who have the latest Macs sitting unused off to the side while an old ThinkPad or a cheap Beelink is running the main show because Omarchy is simply more delightful to use!.

New 16" @FrameworkPuter looks sick but doesn't appear to have a transparent purple bezel option so i can't get it yet.

❤️🔥Love the end of this poem: . The woman in your dream was putting down.a crate of oranges, but then you woke up. remembering there is custard. There is Verdi, there is smoke-filled .late-fall air. And even joy in what .it feels like to grieve. Wanting to sleep . instead of.

Claude, grant me the serenity to context engineer better changes,.the courage to change things myself in vim when I should, and the wisdom to know the difference.
AI demonstrates the sunk-cost fallacy perfectly: Just one more "this doesn't work!" prompt, you think, and it'll fix it!! But often it won't, and now you've wasted 30 minutes begging that you could have spent learning how to actually fucking do it yourself.

if @FrameworkPuter can give me an entire purple translucent gameboy laptop I will buy one today. even so, just the bezel is tempting

When I use AI, it’s because it sounds fun. It’s straight magic. When I raw dog it in vim, it’s because it sounds fun. I like to feel like a hacker. I never used vim bc I thought it made me code faster. I don’t use yolo AI agents bc I think it’s faster. Pay more attention to.
I like programming. I like AI. Even if AI gets better at programming than me I would still write some programs in vim, because I like it. Didn’t get into computers at 12 for the money, did it to create. If I were good at painting, graphics, I wouldn’t stop either.

after about an hour of play tonight, total API cost is still < $5. surely i could have racked it up if I tried but i mostly was just trying to do actual useful things working on my app and thinking about what i wanted to change next. really fun workflow.
