Came across this nice synthesis of a successful critical commentary attributed to Dennett, and it really resonated with me.

There may be a rivalry in football, but off the field @uoregon's Knight Campus is combining strengths with @EngineeringOSU to offer a new joint bioengineering doctoral program. 🤝 The program will mark the first engineering degree to be offered at the UO.

Our lab is looking for a postdoc to work on the neural basis of auditory cognition using two-photon microscopy, neuropixels probes, and pathway-specific optogenetics in behaving mice. Email me to discuss details. Spread the word.

A new paper from our lab (in collaboration with @yasharadian) is now published in #JNeurosci. Congrats to Anna Lakunina for great work on the role of SOM-expressing interneurons in auditory/spectral surround suppression.

Our collaboration with @jrochav's lab has been published by @NatureComms. Check out how biases from past successes seem to disappear after an error, but come back after the next correct response.
