The residents of HD53 are indeed fortunate to have @wesvirdelltx. His selfless spirit and dedication are evident here. I’m proud to say he is my friend. God bless him and all those who are working so hard during this difficult time.
I hope the people of HD53 understand how blessed they are to be represented by @wesvirdelltx. Since the flooding began, he has been on the ground doing the hard work of helping his people, not the performative photo ops we so often see. What a dude!

This session we had several wins for medical liberty in the State of Texas. However, the bill to allow for over-the-counter access to Ivermectin (a bill that I coauthored) unfortunately never made it to the House floor. Now, my conservative colleagues and I are asking Governor.
This is the second letter sent by the office of HD 11 to the Governor of Texas concerning the special session. Ivermectin over the counter!.Medical freedom will always be our top priority. @GregAbbott_TX @TXforVaxChoice

I’m grateful to support Texas conservative principles. There is still more work to do. We need more conservatives in the House.
The important number in the Rice index is the number .5 for Republicans and -.5 for Democrats. For Republicans, there are 59 between 0 and .5. For Republicans, only 28 are above .5. For Democrats, there are only 8 between 0 and -.5. For Democrats, 54 are below -.5.

In-State tuition for illegals is over. Thank you @realDonaldTrump and @GregAbbott_TX.
While I was disappointed that my bill (HB 1324) to end in-state tuition did not even receive a hearing in the House Higher Ed Committee, I am extremely grateful to President @realDonaldTrump & Gov. @GregAbbott_TX for delivering this long overdue win. It does not matter how it got.
