Michelle DelPonte Reviews "You Started WHAT after 60?" by Jane T. Bertrand. This well thought out and executed book needs to come with the same warning label that I heard so many times as a child watching “America’s Funniest Videos. “Don’t try this at home".

Cousin Deborah Trowbridge had agreed to climb Mt March (NY) with me but had recruited her husband and daughter as back-up. The weather caused a one-day delay in the climb, and Deborah lost her back-up team.

The difficulty of reaching Mt Arvon (Michigan) is not the challenge of the ascent but the remoteness of the location. We failed to get tourist bureau instructions that would have led us directly to the parking lot.
