Love in the middle of war: my sister Saja got married in Khan Younis yesterday! Their wedding photos got interrupted by a nearby bombing and they look skinnier than I like, but they are very happy. Saja and Ahmed have been engaged for over a year and at first postponed.

My Gaza family has been displaced yet again. 10 days ago, their area of Deir el Balah received an evacuation order, so they left their school building to crowd into my sister Safia’s burned and damaged apartment in Khan Younis.
