Feel very sad after the horrible femicide and crimes perpetrated in Gradačac. My condolences to the family and friends of Nizama Hećimović. Victims of violence against women deserve sound action, not discussions about competences of entities and state or party politics.

I condemn the adoption of amendments to the Criminal Code of the Republika Srpska in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It will undermine fundamental rights and the work of independent media and civil society. In order to move forward on #BiH's EU path, NL strongly urges to reconsider.

Wat de slachtoffers van de genocide in Srebrenica hebben meegemaakt mag nooit vergeten worden. Daar blijven we ons als internationale gemeenschap voor inzetten. In gedachten ben ik vandaag bij de slachtoffers en alle nabestaanden.
Vandaag 28 jaar geleden vond de genocide in Srebrenica plaats. Terwijl we vandaag met onze gedachten zijn bij de 8372 vaders, zonen, broers, neven en vrienden die er niet meer zijn, zien we etnisch nationalisme en genocide-ontkenning in Bosnië en Herzegovina helaas weer toenemen.

RS president Dodik and RS parliament (RSNA) decide to render Constitutional Court of #bih decisions ineffective and undermine rule of law. RNSA also decided to block cooperation on 14 key priorities for future EU membership. Sad for citizens who long for positive change.

Entities have no right to blackmail the Court or control its operations. These lates moves of RS set a dangerous precedent and will impede greater prosperity, stability and progress on the EURO-Atlantic path.

RS leadership has put public pressure on the #bih Constitutional Court judges appointed by the RSNA and has deliberately failed to fill a vacancy in the Court. This undermines the independence and functionality of the Court and its judges. This is unacceptable.
