Eliminate the corporations ability to lobby government, and the issue of monopolies becomes a mute point. Government is supposed to represent issues that affect and benefit the citizenry, not siding with corporations, complicating regulations and making competition difficult.
We're informed that capitalism is a frightful beast because it breeds monopolies, and monopolies, being ill mannered creatures, raise prices. We are gently asked to overlook that most monopolies do not grow wild in the forest of freedom, but are carefully fenced, watered, and

The reason brick and mortar academic institutions haven't been replaced yet is because the public sector unions protect members and are slow to adapt to technology that would diminish their relevance. Couple that with governments that want to control what is taught and learned.
I’ve always said university and college won’t exist in the not so distant future. It makes absolutely no sense moving forward … drop 10K tuition a year to hear some professor regurgitate a textbook. Education is so out of date … specialized colleges will exist. Patience.

The Establishment institutions want you to believe that the best rehabilitation for violent offenders is to treat them like human beings regardless of the inhuman treatment they have meted on their victims. I disagree. There is a fine line between civility and barbarism.
When Nietzsche wrote, in The Genealogy of Morals, that the state descended on ancient man like a ravenous predator and subjected him tortures to mould and shape him into a citizen, this is exactly what he meant. In El Salvador, that very ancient process is at work today, breaking

A very good question and also the one that stopped the Quebec effort in its tracks. My observation is that Quebec got the "majority" they were after, but were then obfuscated from proceeding with opaque, political language. A clear majority is larger than the margin of error.
Canada’s Clarity Act says independence requires a “clear majority,” but never defines what that means. If Albertans vote without agreeing on that threshold first, the result could lead to serious problems. What is a “clear majority” in your opinion?

The root of the issue is without a moral framework, there is no common denominator to unify a population. None of us are equal to each other. But a shared value system of what is right and wrong is a benchmark we can all agree too.
This is likely the most important video I’ve made. If the West feels insane, it’s because something pathological took over. The social chaos isn't merely a clash of ideas but a system that rewards liars, tyrants, and manipulators, while punishing the sane. Sanity vs madness.

Simple question; Why is one person's right to create chaos greater than the others right to simply enjoy peace? Are these both equal perspectives?
El Salvador President Bukele: “They are worried about the human rights of the k*llers. What about the human rights of the women who don't want to be r*ped? Or the kids who want to safely play in the park?”

Not really surprising after Saskatchewan created the Provincial Marshall Force and Manitoba moved ahead with the Provincial Sheriffs initiatives. The RCMP has already intimated that they were going to transition out of community policing services. Makes sense to be proactive.
BREAKING: Alberta government clears the way for sheriffs to transition to Alberta Sheriffs Police Service

The idea has always been to operate within the system but to ensure you never become of the system.
Socialists talk as if humans were just parts in a system. In reality, we are unique, competitive, and creative. Any system that demands equal outcomes from unequal people has to push against human nature, and eventually resort to force. That is why it always fails.

I may end up reposting this every day because I am exhausted with the performative virtue and self-appointed elites who insist they know better, imply that dissenters are somehow lesser, and claim they are “keeping us safe.” As I see it, this toxic behaviour started with our
My life has always been a mix of holding governments and large, powerful companies to account, encouraging civic participation, and trying to help people with their overall well-being. I did not always see how closely those two commitments were connected, but I do now. And I

Mark Twain: "Facts are stubborn, but statistics are more pliable."
Yes, it's amazing how eye-opening you can make statistics when you just make them up! The 11,700 figure from 1992 includes all types of beds. The comparable 2026 figure is actually 41,839: 8,785 acute care beds 29,754 continuing care beds 3,300 addiction/mental health beds

This man considers himself a "man of the people" and is a sitting Senator. That said, he takes a shot at Albertans and then restricts their ability to respond. He is indicative of all that is wrong with both the Senate and the media background he comes from. Screw you Charlie.
Your choice, Albertans: You can believe Premier Danielle Smith or the Data "In 1992, Alberta had approximately 11,700 hospital beds. Today, with nearly double the population and a much older demographic, we have roughly 8,800. This is not an Ottawa or immigration problem."

Anonymous You board the plane and find a man sitting in your window seat, 4A. You: "Excuse me, I think you're in my seat." Him: "Yeah, my wife is in 4B. Just take my seat back in row 32. Middle seat. It’s the same plane, doesn't matter." You: "No, I paid extra for 4A. Please
