Sit in and try to nick one has been a valid away tactic... forever. Going 2-0 up and Wolves being rubbish doesn't mean it was wrong to adopt that plan in the second half. Ultimately, results justify decisions: Parker can point to his subs combining for the winner #twitterclarets

The #twitterclarets hashtag is an absolutely remarkable read π Scott Parker: makes game-winning subs for the second game running Burnley fans: errr.... BOOOOOO

Was doing a live text commentary on that game. Just as well I was under a laptop or I'd have been off down the street whipping my shirt over my head. What a result that is. Lost our way a bit in the second half but huge character to stay in the game - then win it.

Hope everyone who constantly slates Parker noted his substitutions worked again? Probably too much to ask π

Hope everyone who constantly slates Lyle Foster sat on their hands when that goal went in? #twitterclarets

Penalty is unlucky and the second goal is well made. Need to defend a bit better but fair to credit the opposition

Don't think we did a lot wrong in that half but need to bounce back now.

Turns out having games kicking off at the Etihad and Old Trafford at the same time was a dumb idea. Both Ashton P&Rs rammed π

Probably a fair result on balance. York had more than enough chances but only scored after the goalie dropped a cross and also got away with Halifax missing an open goal after another error from York's toddler-sized goalkeeper. Classic NL football.

York need an adult-sized goalkeeper and someone to finish chances imo

Annualish non-league visit watching York City. The Shay has four ciders on draft - and a piss wall! Just like being back at Bootham this π€ #ycfc

Dyche will get Forest sorted out but West Ham looked absolutely terrible last night - rubbish at the back and nothing in attack is a poor combination #twitterclarets

Have they tried turning it off and on again?
Due to the impact of todayβs global AWS outage, this eveningβs match will begin without the use of Semi-Automated Offside Technology (SAOT). If required, the VAR will use virtual offside lines, as in previous seasons, to determine an offside decision. If SAOT becomes available

Won 2-0 easily and still seeing people moan about tactics, which worked pretty perfectly. Shows a lack of understanding of how football actually works I'm afraid. Parker is naturally defensive but shutting a game down at 2-0 is normal. Basically everyone does it #twitterclarets

This guy knows he's about to get the sack. What a load of waffle. The "stats" might say Leeds dominated but your eyes tell you Burnley had them held at arms length for most of the game.
"In an away game at Premier League level, you can't have a better statistic than we did today. We dominated each and every aspect" π€ #twitterclarets

The allegation of spitting is a strange one since I don't remember him being anywhere near the Leeds fans at any point. But if he's on video doing it, he deserves the book throwing at him.

Big win. Could have played another hour, and Leeds wouldn't have scored but would have liked to see us take the game to them more (am I being greedy). However, if you're booing a stand against racism but celebrate the goals today, you're disgusting. Scum behaviour #twitterclarets

Leeds look a very ordinary side on that evidence. At least they won the league though. That's the real quiz. Doesn't matter that they're shite now.
