Q: How do you communicate a new paradigm?. I've wrestled with this since I got eyes for the principles behind psychology in 2009. I'm always on the lookout for new approaches to wake people up to the wisdom & intelligence within. This video from @satmojoe is a great example

It's years since I first watched Adam Curtis' brilliant film, "The Century of the Self" in 2002. It was mind-blowing at the time - well worth a re-watch in light of the massive changes sweeping society since then (and particularly now).
I have posted much about Edward Bernays. He advocated a place in government to feed propaganda to the world and its own citizens. Here is just a taste of how this ilk thinks. Sunlight is now on this infection. We have all been played. When mad?.

The DSM-V is an expression of a field that lacks a paradigmatic foundation. To @JDaviesPhD point: no scientific basis.
The bar for labeling suffering as disorder is alarmingly low; so low that 1/4 of adults are classified as such. There's no scientific basis for this low bar or for the idea that these people are 'disordered' rather than responding functionally to hardship, trauma, unmet needs etc.
