Letting yourself be loved can be challenging - especially if you don't view yourself as worthy of it. As Stephen Chbosky said, "We accept the love we think we deserve." Picture how you would let yourself be loved if you knew you were enough...what would that look like?

If you had to choose, would you rather be liked or respected? I know, I know - it's a tricky question. Personally, I would choose respected, but my actions often say that I prioritize being liked more. So, I understand the struggle. Is your answer in alignment with your actions?

Sometimes, it's hard to see things clearly when we're standing too close - like when we're looking at ourselves. We need an outside perspective. I'd like to be that person for you today, friend. You have value. You matter. Right now, flaws and all. #socialmediakindnessday

How do you feel about asking for help? At the end of life, you don't get bonus points for doing it alone. We crave community because we need it - we're better when we support others and allow ourselves to be supported in return. #community #movember

Make it make sense 🤔 But seriously, being vulnerable takes strength - it feels difficult because it IS difficult. #vulnerability #leadership

Do you ever get stuck trying to start something because you think you have to be perfect at it from the beginning? While you're worrying about what you should be doing, you're actually doing nothing. My advice? Start. You don't have to be perfect, but you do have to start.

Feeling comfortable shouldn't always be the goal - sometimes, we're meant to feel uncomfortable. During periods of growth. Breaking patterns that aren't serving us. Unlearning harmful behaviors. There's a place for discomfort. #growthmindset

Moments of uncertainty impact us all in different ways. Do you freeze up? Do you thrive? Do you feel the need to isolate? Do you lash out? There's no right or wrong answer, but being aware of your gut reaction can be helpful and give you the tools to handle these moments.

If curiosity sparks conversation and creates community, what do you think assuming does? Don't get in your own way and prevent yourself from having an opportunity to connect. #curiosity #assuming

There are questions we can all benefit from asking - this is one of them. I talk a lot about how important curiosity is in building community, but we must also be curious about ourselves. Curiosity allows us to be authentic & vulnerable.

When faced with the choice between making an assumption or learning, I hope you choose to learn. It's certainly the more difficult option, but it's always worth it. #curiosity #community

It's okay not to be okay. What's not okay? Pretending like you're fine when you aren't. How do you take care of yourself in the moments when you're struggling? Do you allow others to support you, too? #mentalhealth #authenticity

If you're listening without considering that you might be wrong, are you really even listening? When we aren't open to the possibility of learning something new, we end up blocking out a portion of what the other person is saying. #listening

Sometimes, you're actually busy, but other times, being "busy" is an excuse that keeps you from facing something you need to address. The next time you catch yourself saying, "Oh, I'm too busy for that..." I'd love for you to take an extra moment to consider which scenario it is.

Consciously or not, we often make decisions based on how we think they'll be perceived by others. But you are the only person who has to fall asleep to the sound of your own heartbeat. You deserve to be your true, authentic self. #vulnerability

We can't show up authentically for others if we aren't authentic with ourselves. You deserve to be seen as who you are, not who you're supposed to be. #authenticity #selfworth

We need to hear stories of difference, so we must get comfortable with being uncomfortable. Growth doesn't happen in our comfort zone. #growth #comfortzone

We all have patterns that we fall into, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. Some patterns are productive. But it's always a good idea to keep reassessing your patterns - are your patterns serving you? Or are you in the habit of serving your patterns? #growthmindset #patterns
