Great point by Kay in the postgame show. The 6th inning "infield single" by Gimenez was a KILLER. If IKF makes that play, it's a 1-2-3 inning and Severino's through 6. Bottom of the order comes up in the 7th instead of the top. Bullpen could've played out so differently.

Last night was the Yankees' 1st walk-off playoff loss since 2017 ALCS Game 2 at Houston, and their 1st extra-inning playoff loss since 2017 ALDS Game 2 at Cleveland So much for momentum in those series...The Yankees immediately won three straight games after both losses

The Red Sox are eliminated. The last team to repeat as World Series champions is still the 1998-2000 Yankees. This is the 19th straight season without a back-to-back champ, the longest stretch without one in the history of any of the four major sports (MLB/NFL/NBA/NHL).

OK, here's a great note from our pals @StatsBySTATS The Yankees are the first team in MLB history to pitch a no-hitter, turn a triple play, and have a walk-off win all in a three-day span!

Incredibly weak complaint by Chris Woodward. By the way, Torres's home run went farther than Calhoun's.
