The last time I remember some one doing what Myles Garrett did was when Antonio Smith ripped off Richie Incognito’s helmet and then swung it at his head. I can’t believe I found the video.

I’m going to argue that Garrett’s thing was way worse than this. This was “immediate thing”, kind of a reactionary move - Garrett ripped off the helmet and then sought out Rudolph behind two intervening players to swing it. This shows intention.

Antonio Smith went on to play another 3 years in the league after this with only a 3 game suspension. Garrett had astronomically more cause to swing that helmet than Smith did.

This is different as the opposite player cited the popular ‘Icognito Rule’ - which states that anything involving Richie IC is not a foul
