As much as gamers would like to act like it's the opposite, games are very much reflective of the world and politics their creators are surrounded by, especially in terms of race. Like, I love the first Mass Effect, but that trilogy is a prime example of Bush-era politics.
i actually hate elder scrolls from a story perspective for literally jst being a banal euro fantasy yt supremacist fever dream but the nature of a half decent sandbox rpg that prioritizes individual character experience is that you dnt rly have 2 respect the premise all too much
