That said, and this is not any kind of attendance bias, they were really were playing like their life depended on it last night.
There was something frenetic and necessary about every note they hit. Just unbelievable.

About 20 years ago, I met Mike Rogers. He was homeless and going through recovery and I was teaching English and rehabbing buildings for affordable housing. We met and opened a coffee shop that was free for everybody and created community. Last nite we celebrated 20 years clean.
