Gavin Newsom’s media team is single-handedly proving why Democrats shouldn’t have abandoned Twitter after Kamala lost and is proving why Democrats should go on Fox News. The meltdown Republicans are having over a Democrat emulating Trump’s behavior is well worth it.

I'm becoming more and more convinced Americans would be in favor of authoritarianism and fascism as long as it aligned with their political bias. Because this in conjunction with the shock troopers patrolling American communities is fascism. It warrants bipartisan condemnation.

The response of the US government to Hurricane Katrina should be seen with the same historical significance as the attacks of 9/11 and the COVID-19 pandemic. There’s only one logical reason that it isn’t.

This is why I like Gavin Newsom more and more. Because apparently it’s not an “illegal power grab” when Republicans do it in Texas. But when Democrats do it in California, it’s an issue. It’s about time Democrats started fighting fire with fire.

South Carolina Republicans have spent years saying trans people were a threat to kids when, really, the call was coming from inside the house. Typical.

#WednesdayNetflix doesn’t miss. At all. I slept on it in 2022 when it first came on. Now it’s my favorite show I’ve ever watched on Netflix. That morbid, dark humor is real.

We just stopped talking about Sonya Massey as if she was just another trending topic on social media. That bothers me. I hate that. It’s awful. The video of her death is haunting. Just like the others. #BlackLivesMatter.

I’m becoming more and more convinced of the failures of Joe Biden regarding his inability to safeguard the American way of life. He was more dedicated to institutional norms like the filibuster than truly preserving democracy. His administration didn’t understand what we face.

This guy is a maniac. Crime in Washington DC is a thirty year low. He wants to be a fascist and wants to use the US military to do it.

Donald Trump pardoned the majority of people who stormed the US Capitol building on January 6th and beat up cops. The country didn’t bat an eye. Beshear will be ok.

I watched that show #ForeverNetflix y’all were talking about. It was ok. A bit too serious for a teen drama. Definitely too inappropriate for a teen drama. I hate the stereotypical trope of the Black boy not going to college. But I enjoyed the depiction of a great Black father.

Whoever does Andrew Cuomo’s social media should be fired. Because bragging about being a nepo-baby at 67 years old is the reason Mandani kicked his ass in the Democratic primary. I hate when politicians conduct themselves like teenagers on social media. It’s unprofessional.

The Trump administration’s brazen assault on voting rights and American democracy must be stopped. It will be. But there needs to be a reckoning with the fact that many Americans feel that democracy doesn’t work for them and that’s because it hasn’t. That has to change.🇺🇸.

“Defend your culture”. The Trump administration isn’t even pretending immigration enforcement is about crime and borders anymore. This is racism instituted as policy. This is eerily similar to the early 1930s.
