Do you still remember the first edition of the Fw 190 from Eduard in 1/48? Well, that's it. I chose the Fw 190 A-6 battle fighter from Sturmstaffel 1 in a Special Hobby rebox. Finally some really tough modeling again 💪I have used some extra photoetched parts from my warehouse 🤣

Well, almost same photo like last one, but now is Bf 109E-4 finished. I hope you like it! So, right time for finishing of Bf 109E-4 from Tamiya in same scale 💪

Final coat of my own mixture (1/2 of flat + 1/2 of semimatt) of very old Model Master Lacquer clear finish diluted with Tamiya Lacquer Thinner (retarder type) looks still very good. I have used ratio cca 1 part of mixture with 6 parts of thinner and under 1,0 bar airpressure.

Decals on Bf 109 E-4 from Special Hobby in 1/72 are done. Well, next another gloss coat and second round of enamel washes will be continuing. And of corse! Both Emils together 🤣

Decals from Aeromaster printed in 1994 are still working with original SET and SOL liquids for decals. After drying of decals and liquids I will add another gloss coat over

Both Emils are near to decals. Tamiya have RLM 74/75/76/71/02/04 camo and Special Hobby have RLM 71/02/65 camo. Old Tamiya kit looking still very good.

My today paintjob. I have had unfinished Bf 109 E-4 from Tamiya in 1/72 scale. I have used AK Real Colour paints except RLM 02 and 71 for snakes and splotches from MRP lacquers. Enamel washes arent dry before cleaning with enamel thinner.

Here we go! 77propeller airbrush stencils works good. 1/72 Bf 109 kit from Special Hobby is tiny, but needs some upgrades. I thinned the edges on the engine cover to make them thin and sharp. Exhausts are resin aftermarket parts from CMK "Quick and easy" sets.

For better imagination of final view Helmut Wick´s Bf 109 E-4 and why I´ve used airbrush stencils from 77Propeller 😎

Oblt. Helmut Wick´s Bf 109 E-4, W. Nr. 4148 had very difficult camouflage made from litlle splotches. This is my first try with 77propeller Airbrush stencil Set 1 and I´m think thait it looks okay.

New works on Ta 152 H-0. I have done a lot of scratchbuilt parts for engine bed with help of Evergreen profiles. Cockpit was upgraded with photoetched parts. It looks that is time for first paints on cockpit now. I am starting to be satisfied with my job 😋

Yes, I am an old metalhead with bad eyesight. A magnifying glass was necessary for building my kits. I chosen the Levenhuk Zeno Visor with LED illumination. I must say that it is very useful for detailed work on my models. Do you also use something like this?

I have used a lot of putty and then sanding/rescribbing/cleaning/polishing and over and over again. Insane neverending story. But! I have see small light in darkness in the end now 🤣🤪😩😵‍💫🤩

Some steps on Kurfürst too. Eduard make mistake with part numbers of rear strut bases into fuselage. The numbers are reversed in the instructions 🤣 It is Eduard´s classic - the modeller must be on his guard. On photo are right numbers on right and left fuselage halves.

Little bit steps on my long-time project: Focke Wulf Ta 152 H-0 from Trimaster. I have used too much strength during drying of glue. It is reason large areas with putty on rear edge of wing. Putty need around three weeks for perfect dry before sanding.
