General take 🇧🇷 Cards accepted almost everywhere. Drink caipirinha. English level is low, but people are super friendly and love to share their football culture. Not as chaotic as you might think, and you’ll see an incredible amount of football shirts on the streets every day.

São Cristóvão & Santos 🇧🇷 We visited the homes of Ronaldo Nazário and Pelé. Both fascinating — locals proudly share their stories. One thing we noticed: Pelé is legendary, but the local passion doesn’t feel quite as intense as Maradona’s in Buenos Aires.

Grenal (Porto Alegre) 🇧🇷 Listed as one of the best derbies in the world, Internacional vs Grêmio did not disappoint. We had full stadium access and toured among the torcidas. Very Argentine-like due to the southern location, though European derbies are still better on the stands
