@Jakelawler42 Eric Red, this was his thesis script at AFI I believe. He also co-wrote Near Dark which is like a sister movie of The Lost Boys. Red was actually hired to write the prequel to Lost Boys that focused on Max the head vampire from the first one. Helluva writer.

@Jakelawler42 First time I saw it, years ago, I rented it... but had my TV misadjusted with my VCR hookup, and watched it in B&W, thinking it WAS a B&W movie... and it added something to it. mho. Saw it color later and it wasn't quite the same.
