A little late to the party but WOW what a signing Ben Brereton-Diaz is!. Experienced in the Premier League as well as La Liga, plus historically a great goalscorer at this level. We needed quality out wide, it seems like we've finally got it! 🐏 #DCFC

I know half the fanbase have said this by now, but Rhian Brewster looks a really special player. His effort and desire to win the penalty, as well as beat 3 men to put his goal away, was top drawer. Looks a brilliant signing 🐏 #DCFC

That was a sickening way to drop 2 points, but there's so much Derby can take from that result. Brewster, Clark and Morris linked up so well going forwards. Brewster in particular was excellent. The defending needs work but the signs are there. This team is improving. #DCFC.

Max Johnston is a Ram!. He's a two-time Austrian title winner with Champions League and international experience, and should bring real quality to our back line. At only 21 years old and signing a 4 year deal, he looks like a great signing! 🐏 #DCFC

Lewis Travis is a Ram!. Derby have been desperate for an out and out defensive midfielder all summer, and he's finally here!. Another leader in the dressing room, and he's got promotion winning experience from his time at Ipswich. Eustace reunites with his ex-captain! 🐏 #DCFC

It's a shame we lost that, but I think Derby can take quite a lot from that game. Until the subs in the second half we looked good against a Premier League side. Clark and Brewster linked up really well too. Couple more additions and Eustace might be onto something 🐏 #DCFC

I think John Eustace got his team wrong today, but he got his subs so so right. Clark, Brewster, Ward and Kenzo made a huge difference when they came on, we looked so much more positive. Morris excellent again, deserved his goal. We're finally off the mark! 😂 #DCFC

Today reminded me a lot of Eustace's first game away at QPR. Defensively we looked wide open, some of the goals were borderline hilarious with how bad the defending was. As poor as it was, I'm not too worried about today. The team won't look like this by September. #DCFC.

That was an embarrassing collapse. To put it simply, aside from Morris's moment of sheer brilliance, Derby showed absolutely nothing else all game. To lose in the manner we did in the end was awful. We need players fit, and fast, so that doesn't happen again. #DCFC.
