Sean McAdam is saying the Padres have been “relentless” in their pursuit of Jarren Duran. This was after Jeff Passan said yesterday no team has been linked as strongly to Duran than the Padres. I keep thinking about the last thing Passan wrote about the Padres in that article.

The Rays have only used 6 starting pitchers this season. With a young rotation, they may start shortening some starts and using the bullpen more. Baker helps tremendously with that.
