Just talked with Westtown guard and Temple commit Cam Wallace for @OwlScoop_com at the All Star Labor Classic where Wallace said he is still “100% committed” to Temple. Wallace is the only member of the graduating 2025 class signed to the Owls, as of now.

Rice closes out Temple 67-49 here at Dickies Arena behind 18 points from Malia Fisher. Temple's offense struggled, shooting just 31% from the field in the loss as Temple lose to Rice in the semifinals for the second consecutive year.

Temple trails 56-36 with 5:56 remaining. Temple has scored just two free-throws from Amaya Oliver this quarter.

End of the third quarter with Rice leading 49-34. Temple shot 3-for-15 in the third quarter as no player on Temple has scored more than six points in this game.

Almost six minutes are down, and Tiarra East knocks down a pair of free throws for Temple's first points of this quarter. Temple is 0-8 from the field to start the quarter.

Rice has opened the third quarter on a 7-0 run with an Aniah Alexis three forcing a Temple timeout. Rice leads 40-26.

End of the first half with Rice leading 33-26. Temple started to get things clicking to close out the quarter, holding Rice without a field goal for the final three minutes and starting to knock down some shots.

Temple’s offense has struggled in this quarter, as Temple is currently on a nearly three minute scoring drought. Rice has taken advantage on the opposite end leading 26-18.

Rice leads 19-14 at the end of the first quarter. Rice closed out the quarter strong, scoring in bunches while shutting down Temple's offense. Victoria Flores has a pair of threes for Rice.

Temple leads 10-7 with four early points from Amaya Oliver. Both teams have traded punches early but Temple’s defense has started to ramp up the last couple of minutes.

Temple picks up the win here at Dickies Arena 65-34, completely dominating Charlotte. Amaya Oliver finished with a team-high 12 points and 13 rebounds. The Owls now move on to play Rice in a semifinals matchup of last year tomorrow.

Temple leads 58-28 with just a couple of minutes left in the game. The Owls defense has continued to shut down Charlotte, holding them scoreless for the past three minutes.
