Made a switch from Windows to Ubuntu on my old laptop and I’m loving it so far. Decided to test it out by building a simple file download organizer.

I drew a simple profile picture for a friend a while back to test if i could use Affinity Designer, and decided I’d make it interactive using @rive_app

Just wrapped up building a simple note-taking app with the MERN stack .Learned a ton about JWT authentication, databases, and connecting frontend & backend. Still plan on rebuilding this again from scratch just so it sticks

Made a simple responsive webpage with React and CSS to see if i could add the Rive animation to a website. The @rive_app documentation was beyond helpful and easy to follow.

I was so happy i was able to pull this off on my own with @rive_app until i noticed it doesn’t switch back to idle animation when it’s not being hovered…got so much to learn😪

Is there a fix for this?

How do i find an open source platform to learn and collaborate? I’ve never really worked with a team so i never had a reason to use pull requests.

Just graduated college and my friend told me to build in public consistently. So i intend document every little thing I’m gonna build through out my software dev and animation journey.

After more than a month, I finally managed to fix the accursed Gradle error. Thank you so much to everyone who suggested a fix or even spent the time commenting words of encouragement.

What’s stopping an open source alternative to all adobe products from existing?.

Small win but i got 7 users on my chrome extension! And 5 of them are actual users i don’t know😂
