Gabriel Arias’ return will shakeup the Guardians’ defensive alignment of late. Arias will play primarily at short, with Rocchio at second and Schneemann in right - but it’s not definitive. “Those two can be one of the best double-play combos in baseball”.

Game 1 will now be on normal club broadcasting, not Apple TV+. Game 2 will remain on FOX. Guardians will have Gavin Williams opposite Michael Wacha in Game 1 and Tanner Bibee opposite Kris Bubic in Game 2.

Tonight’s game between the Guardians-Royals has been postponed. We will have a split doubleheader tomorrow at 1:40 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.

It was another frustrating day offensively for the Royals, who have now dropped 9 of their past 10 series at The K. Simply put, the Royals are not executing when it matters most. “The guys are frustrated. They don’t want to leave guys out there”.
