I auditioned for a Taco Bell advert once & I was so scared of the casting director that when she told me to pick up a biscuit, eat it & say the lines to camera I did it despite the fact I’m allergic to wheat & then I passed out and was sick all over myself on oxford street xox.

I missed the first rehearsal of showcase and as I approached the teacher to introduce myself and apologise she berated me in front of the rest of the year, telling me she’d NEVER hire me in the real world. I missed the rehearsal because I was receiving cancer treatment 🥴.
Staff members at drama school: Stop making unnecessary scathing remarks to students and labelling it as valuable learning. You’re not imparting wisdom, you’re inflicting pain and it is NOT A REFLECTION OF THE INDUSTRY (no matter how many times you say it is).

When I was auditioning for DEH I found out they wanted to see me again when I was staying in a hostel in Morocco sharing a room with 5 other people; had to practise so I did a live performance of ‘Waving Through A Window’ every night to them before bed xox (wish this was a lie).
