https://t.co/Ljl1CmaeQi Oh my god I’m so happy. 2 newly described mummy specimens for E. annectens! To say this changes things would be an understatement, but my brain is too excited to think straight right now.

Doodle of a juvenile Edmontosaurus annectens I made some months ago, based on the two new munmies. It shows the new soft tissue features, although the big scales from the neck are based on E. regalis. The inspiration on the new Walking with Dinosaurs edmontosaurs is obvious.

Two new Edmontosaurus skeletons with preserved skin just got published by Paul Sereno and collegues. They had a fleshy scaly crest over their back and hoofed feet! I was lucky enough to see the specimens last summer. The publication is open access: https://t.co/MEvnyNAk6D

Allosaurus fragilis The color scheme comes from 《Walking with Dinosaurs》, which creates the most classic Allosaurus color scheme. I hope my poor imitation will make you like it.

2 new Edmontosaurus dino mummies just got described. Edmontosaurus changes very little, but there are some interesting minor new things about the feet, plus some weird soft tissue going on with the shoulder hump. Art: Danni Navarro

Omg, Edmontosaurus and other hadrosaurs sure looked weird This is incredible
It would appear we have 2 new mummified specimens of Edmontosaurus annectens. They preserve, quote, “a fleshy crest over the neck and trunk, an interdigitating spike row over the hips and tail, and hooves capping the toes of the hind feet.” https://t.co/N1KmaYhUT2
