Magnesiacore. Indoor Pool Drywall and Ceilings is a True Marine Wallboard. When it comes to indoor pools, natatoriums, or other enclosed spaces with high humidity and the moist chemical exposure it entails, you need a construction board that can withstand these elements.

College Recruiting is JUST like dating… Sometimes you get replaced by someone they just met yesterday.

College basketball isn’t about the level, it’s about the fit. Because whether it’s D1 or D3 or JUCO… You’ll still running 17s. You’ll still lift at 6AM. You’ll still be getting yelled at by everyone on staff And your coach will still say, “one more rep” …for AT LEAST 13 more

This isnt going to be popular amongst many. But, someone has to stand up for the kids. Im seeing way too many injuries & fatigue from kids who should be enjoying the game while having it help w/their education. Disagree? Thats ok. Mad? Thats ok too. I'll always advocate for kids.

If this is truly about the kids, parents & coaches(HS & AAU)need to really sit down & get back to working together for the best for the kids. Too much 💰 involved for it to come from anywhere else honestly. We are ruining a generation of players by overdoing this. And, for what?

Instead they are told to "push through" or "be tough" if they want that scholarship. All the while they are being conditioned & set up to not have the careers or experiences they could have. For what? Social media clout? Money? Attention? I don't know, I do know its broken.

We are RUINING kids bodies (unless your the elite of elite athletes, very small %) before they can even get to the level they dream, college basketball. When we get them at college, we are nursing & dealing with so many injuries. A lot of it could've been none issues with rest.

We've not calculated pickup games, training sessions, etc. Multiply that by 3 & thats what we are expecting TEENAGE kids without fully developed bodies to endure. Then we wonder why we are seeing so many knee, hip, back injuries & surgeries.

Then July "Live Period" comes and they play another 20-30 games that month. Just to turn around & its August to start Soph yr. This kid has now played 140 basketball games in less than 1 calendar year. Thats almost 4 1/2 complete basketball seasons in ONE YEAR!

As soon as season is over they jump straight into aau from March-May. 1 or 2 practices a week, then playing between 30-50 games. Lets cut the difference & say another 40 games. Then comes June & off to HS team camp where they practice & play another 30 games.

Let's put things in perspective. Freshman yr kids come into high school, August they start working out & training until November. They play fall league in September, typically 8-10 games. Then they play November-February/March, typically around 30 games. In this Fr yr 40 games.

I've been very adamant & clear w/my feelings on this with recruits & their famies this past yr as well. Do I hate high school or aau ball? Absolutely not, it all has its place in the game. Unfortunately every line has blurred & too many good people are walking away bc of it.

I've noticed this trend the past 4-5 yrs where everyone is having their kids play basketball yr around essentially, I was guilty too. I've seen injuries & mental burnout skyrocket as a result in that time. I've also seen overall skill & general 🏀 IQ not rise with amount played.

I want to start this 🧵 in hopes it brings light to parents, coaches, trainers, WHOEVER! I hope it helps save a next generation of players & parents from fatigue, burn out, wasteful money spending. High School & Middle School kids play TOO MUCH basketball today.

Love seeing such good early season matchups in the @NAIA. If a team wins it should boost their resume. If they lose, it should do nothing negative to hurt them. We need to incentivize great teams playing great teams! @NAIAHoopsReport

As you will hear on this week's podcast, not everyone's 3-0 is the same 3-0 and not everyone's 0-3 is the same 0-3. It's been a great first two weeks of the NAIA season! A ton of really great matchups between Top 40 RPI type teams! Love so many teams challenging themselves early!
