Finished off a great high school season batting .427 (38-89) with an OBP of .592 and a SLG of .674. I tallied 14 XBH (9 2B’s, 5 3B’s, and 1 HR). I tallied 33 BB’s, 21 RBI’s, and 35 runs. Conference player of the year 🏆 and 1st team all area! District and conference champs!!!

Incredibly honored to announce our first All-Ohio award winner since 2020, Caden Gronostaj. What a season, what a kid; both on the field and in the classroom. Caden boasts a 4.53 GPA; very proud of you guy!

I’d like to congratulate Zach Oborne on the new Monroe High School All-Time Career Assist record. Zach started contributing his Fr. year & averaged 11.75 assists per season in his 4-Year career. Zach surpassed former record holder Ben Griffis (35 assists) in his career at Monroe.

Throughout the day, we’ll celebrate these 2025 Award Recipients. Starting with 1st Team ALL-SWBL on the SW side. Gronostaj & Oborne led the SWBL in points, combining for 23 goals & 22 assists, while CB Miller & GK Joe lead the league with 8 shutouts & only 2 goals conceded.

Next up, our 2nd Team & Honorable Mention. JR Oborne has been part of the CB Duo, allowing 2 goals this year. Foster, a 1st year varsity player anchors the CDM & stepped up big for us this year. Reynolds has been a nuisance all year, with 6 goals and 5 assists in league play.

Rounding out the last two awards. This one is a testament of the boys executing. Couple that with the support, guidance, & dedication from an elite staff. Gronostaj’s lead the Hornets to Back to Back SWBL championships at the helm, & 3 of 4 since his inception with the program.
