Really glad that all of the Japan Airlines pax and crew seem to have survived the crash.
But I'm not surprised to hear that it was an orderly evacuation. JAL is able to board widebody aircraft in 10-15 mins as pax are so considerate.

Seats will be installed on all Airbus A321XLR and Boeing 787-9 deliveries starting in 2024. Plus, the 777-300 will be retrofit with these new seats starting in late 2024.

will start using buses from Allentown/Bethlehem, PA (ABE) and Atlantic City, NJ (ACY) airports to Philadelphia - instead of American Eagle planes.
Just like on its planes, AA busses will provide power and streaming entertainment - but Wi-Fi will be free.

Today was my ~6 month checkup since my last surgery. Relieved to report that there are no signs of spread, the scar is healing well, and no new biopsies were needed 🙌

I feel like Holiday Inn Express doesn't get enough credit for being a practical yet comfortable brand. Our hotel tonight is just minutes from DFW (w free shuttle), solid breakfast and our room has 16 available power outlets (2 universal) plus 6 USB plugs. All for under $100. 👏

When I worked full-time in tax accounting, I tried to plan a far-away getaway right after the April 15 deadline (South Africa, Kuala Lumpur, etc.)

Well that's a first for me. Our flight touched down so hard on landing that an overhead bin popped open.
Also with how high we bounced the landing, I'm surprised the pilots didn't initiate a go-around. But thankfully we are all safe on the ground now!
