If #ocaml was as good as tech Twitter claimed, companies would be using it more. It might make you a better developer and it’s great for certain niches but you’re better off with Java, JavaScript, C#, PHP, Python, and maybe Go.

I’ve been working on the same JavaScript backend codebase for 8 years. It was originally CoffeeScript, then ES6, and now TypeScript. Scaled from roughly 1,000 to 1,000,000 users. Probably had 15 or more devs seriously work on it. Can’t imagine going back to a type free world.
